The VA FONE NET is an independent directed net which meets twice daily at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm on 3.947 Mhz to pass traffic into, out of and throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia as a public service and to handle net business and informal messages for amateurs and non-amateurs and to promote friendship and fellowship among all radio amateurs. All amateurs are welcome to check in.
Are there any Health and welfare messages?
Do we have any formal, informal or QNC's for the net?
WE ASK THAT ALL STATIONS NOT INTERESTED IN THE VFN TO PLEASE QSY SLIGHTLY AND POLITELY SO WE CAN HANDLE THE NET BUSINESS AND TURN THE FREQUENCY BACK TO NORMAL AMATEUR USE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR CO-OPERATION.
